Jim Finlayson's Thoughts About the Sky and The Edge
TriNerds: What's your favorite super shoe right now?
Jim Finlayson: My favorite super shoe right now is the Metaspeed Sky Paris. It's incredibly light, and I really love the forefoot cushioning. It doesn't work against my momentum; instead, it gives me a lot of fluidity and helps me maintain my form.
TriNerds: Interesting! Can you us me more about your experience with the Metaspeed Sky Paris compared to the Metaspeed Edge?
Jim Finlayson: Sure! When they first came out, ASICS introduced two different styles: the Sky and the Edge. Personally, I find that the Edge puts me in a slightly better anatomical position, which is great. However, the Sky feels smoother in the forefoot for me. So, even though I feel like the Edge helps my positioning, the Sky provides a bit more fluid movement. For my running style, that fluidity with the Sky makes a noticeable difference.
